Company Management
These Terms and Conditions are established for the purpose of governing the management of our business. Accordingly, all business activities of the Company shall be carried out within the framework of these Terms and Conditions. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its own discretion, without prior notice and at any time. By booking or using any of our services, a contractual relationship shall be deemed to have been formed between the customer and the Company, and the customer shall be deemed to have agreed to all provisions set out in these Terms and Conditions.
Article 2
Nature and Scope of Activities
Pedro Fernández, the founder of the Company, is duly registered as a self-employed professional under Spanish law, and his principal activity is the provision of private sightseeing guide services in Japanese. The scope of the Company's activities includes tourist guiding, interpreting and translation services, as well as other related activities of a similar nature.

About This Website
This website (https://www.north-spain.com) and all of its constituent elements, including its design, logo, texts, videos, images, photographs and audio, as well as its contents, are the property of Pedro Fernández and are protected by the copyright and intellectual property laws of the Kingdom of Spain and by international law. Any unauthorised reproduction, republication, reuse or distribution of such materials is strictly prohibited.
Article 4
Disclaimer of Liability
The Company shall bear no social or financial liability whatsoever for theft, robbery, food poisoning, illness, injury, fatal accidents, or any other incidents occurring during the use of services provided by the Company. The Company shall likewise bear no liability, nor shall it issue any refund, in the event that changes to or cancellation of services become necessary due to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters (including floods, fires, earthquakes and typhoons), strikes, riots, terrorism, construction works or any other similar cause. Furthermore, where services are changed or cancelled due to circumstances or negligence attributable to third parties (including other companies, organisations or institutions), the Company shall bear no liability whatsoever and no refund shall be made.
In preparation for such unforeseen circumstances, the Company strongly recommends that customers take out overseas travel insurance.
Article 5
Use of the Information Provided
Any information and advice contained on this website or in emails sent by the Company is provided for reference purposes only and does not guarantee completeness or accuracy. Customers are asked to note in advance that local conditions, regulations and procedures may change, or may be subject to different interpretations.
The Company shall bear no social or financial liability whatsoever for any loss or disadvantage arising from the above, nor shall any refund of service fees be made.
Article 6
Handling of Personal Information
The Company fully recognises the importance of protecting personal information and regards its proper handling and protection as a fundamental principle of its business operations. When obtaining personal information, the Company shall clearly specify the purpose of use and shall use such information only within the scope of that purpose. Personal information obtained shall be used solely for the performance of the contract or for the preparation of a tour in accordance with the customer's requests, and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the consent of the individual concerned, except where there are legitimate grounds for doing so.
Article 7
Service Cancellation Policy
The following cancellation charges shall apply in the event of cancellation by all or part of the customers:
- 14 days or more before the service date: No cancellation charge
- From 14 days to 7 days before the service date: 50% cancellation charge
- Within 7 days of the service date: 100% cancellation charge
- Any expenses relating to services already arranged (including food and drink, accommodation, transport, tickets, admission fees, etc.) shall be charged in full. Thank you for your understanding.
The Company also reserves the right to decide to change or cancel a service for legitimate reasons (such as serious illness). Where changes or cancellation are unavoidable, the Company shall endeavour to notify the customer as promptly as possible; however, under no circumstances shall any obligation arise to pay compensation for emotional distress or similar damages.
Each service shall depart at the scheduled time. If a customer is unable to participate in the service because they arrive late for the departure time, no refund shall be made.
Article 8
Fees and Deposit
Any costs listed for each service, including admission fees, transport costs, food and drink expenses and similar charges (including those for the guide), are not included in the guiding fee and shall be borne separately by the customer. Customers are kindly asked to understand this in advance. The Company may also arrange bookings and reservations for tickets, restaurants, hotels, shows, transport and similar services; however, the full related cost must be paid in advance. Furthermore, any sums paid in respect of such arrangements are non-refundable under any circumstances.
